Besulla is a gray, dry desert world known only for the mining operations run by the Thonos Corporation, which owns a full exploitation license for the world.

The Thonos Corporation 'recruits' the undesirables of many worlds, keeping them in check with extensive military presence.

Besulla was in the midst of a workers revolution, where the miners, through work stoppages, sabotage, and diversion of product to smugglers, were attempting to wrest concessions from the Thonos Corporation.  The Corporation was winning and importing additional paramilitary forces when the K'Erin invaded.

As of [[TURN 3]] the system is under a full invasion.
